Q: What were you doing for work prior to finding FFL and what were you making?

Q: Why did you leave your previous positions?
A: I Wanted more out of life for my family. More freedom and the ability to do the things I want at my own leisure is very valuable to me.

Q: What was the biggest adversity that you had to overcome?
A:  The biggest adversity I had to learn to overcome was forcing myself to leave my comfort zone, in order to learn the skill sets that selling insurance requires.

Q: What is the most rewarding aspect of your new career?
A: I think that it’s very gratifying to serve others in the community while simultaneously, being able to provide a good life for your own family.

Brandon and Teresa Kitchings

Brandon and Teresa started with us in 2019/2020 and their agencies have issued $2,508,765 YTD! Continue reading to learn more about their journey with FFL:

Q: What were you doing for work prior to finding FFL and what were you making?
Teresa: I was in the banking industry for 12 years. I worked as a relationship manager in both the call center and banking center. I made $48,000 a year and would work 40+ hours a week. If overtime was available I could easily squeeze in another 10 hours.
Brandon: I was a loan officer in the same call center as Teresa for 11 years. That’s where we met each other. I made around $84,000 a year working 50 hours/6 days a week.

Q: What made you decide to get started with FFL?
Teresa: I had no aspirations of being in this industry. I was just supporting the career change Brandon made. once I saw how Brandon was helping people not go through what I had experienced with my dad, I felt I should be educating & serving my people and my community too.
Brandon: After losing my father in law in October of 2018 with no life insurance. It made me realize how important life Insurance was. If I could help just one family not go through what we went through that would be amazing, so I decided to explore some opportunities and found FFL.

Q: What was the biggest adversity that you had to overcome?
Teresa: Biggest adversity I had to overcome was getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. I know we hear that a lot but it’s true. This is totally different from what I was used to. But after the first few appointments I realized it’s really not that deep, these people we sit with need us.

Brandon: Biggest adversity for me was trusting the system and not trying to reinvent the wheel. The system FFL has in place is designed to work for WORKERS!

Q: What is the most rewarding aspect of your new career?
Teresa & Brandon: FFL has allowed us to spend more time with our family, travel more than we ever have in our lives, and help families leave legacies not burdens while helping other agents secure their financial future. This business is life changing!

Q: What were you doing for work prior to finding FFL and what were you making?
Alondra: I was working as a restaurant server and going to school for Nursing. I worked 40 hours per week and made around $30,000 a year.
Josh: I was working as a bartender and I was an aspiring Correctional Officer for the state. I worked 35-40 hours per week and made $30,000 a year.

Q: Why did you leave your previous positions?
Alondra: I left because I was working too many hours in comparison to the type of pay that I was receiving.
Josh: I decided to leave because I wasn’t happy or fulfilled in my career. I was ready for a “grown up” job but just didn’t know what I wanted to do at first.

Q: What was the biggest adversity that you had to overcome?
Alondra: I think I had to learn how to treat this as a real business as well as protect my schedule at all times.
Josh: I initially had a hard time investing in leads. I was making more money than I had ever made in my life, so it was painful in the beginning to part with that money to invest back into my business.

Q: What is the most rewarding aspect of your new career?
Alondra: The most rewarding thing for me is being able to impact so many people who want an opportunity to better their life and the lives of their family members.
Josh: The most rewarding aspect for me is being able to help families by putting them in a better financial situation. I’m also grateful to be able to change the financial future of my own family.

Kali Somerville

Kali’s been with FFL since 2019 and recently shared the impact FFL has had on her life. Continue reading to learn more about Kali’s journey:

Exactly 2 years ago, today, June 15, 2019, I moved into the “Blue Room”. My father had just passed away literally a month prior. I was living with my father at the time and I could not afford to pay the $400 a MONTH for rent.
A good friend told me that I could come and stay with her in her son’s old room. June 15, 2019 also happened to Father’s Day, the 1st Father’s Day with no Father. I just remember feeling so sad that all these things were happening all at once. ” How am I going to get through this? God, I can’t take anymore.” All that I could do that day was cry……BUT GOD!!!

Two weeks later I was on the phone with Anna Marie and she was breaking down to me all of the great things about this company called Family First Life. Of course I was skeptical,  I spent the last 6 years chasing a dream that never seemed to come to fruition. And she was trying to sell me, yet, another dream. A couple of nights later, I laid on the floor and prayed to God to lead me in the direction that I was supposed to go (at this point it was either FFL or a job that I was offered). When I woke up the next morning, my direction was clear and I was at peace. My path did not involve working a job. Although, it’s not always easy, this is my “How it started and How it’s going”.

Just 2 short years later my life is COMPLETELY different than it was. I’ve been blessed to meet and work with some of the most AMAZING people. God has a way of removing people and things from your life that are blocking you and your purpose. I’m thankful for a company called Family First Life. I know we are just getting started and there is so much more to come!! To be continued …..Shawn Meaike thank you for FFL!

Rob Richman

In 2012 Rob was working as a server in a restaurant. He would typically make around $500 for working 40 hours a week. Eventually he started looking for new opportunities because he knew that there had to be something better out there for him.

In 2019 Rob found FFL and decided to give it a shot. Initially he found himself over-thinking too much but with time he learned to just trust the system. He quickly excelled to being a top producer and issued $885,197.19 in 2020. His agency FFL Apex hit Board Member status in April and have issued $3,825,106.68 YTD!

In addition to the financial success Rob has created, he enjoys being able to witness the growth of his agency and his agents. Knowing that they are in a position to now change their own lives has been incredibly rewarding. Best of all, we know that Rob will continue to empower agents to reach their own financial goals.

Brittni Jarrett

Brittni qualified for the Hall of Fame in 2020 and has already issued $277,863 YTD!
In 2014 Brittni was working as a Dog walker/Dog Lodge Employee. She was paid $9-12 an hour and would typically work over 40 hours a week. Sometimes she even had to work around the clock the entire day while she was pet sitting. Shortly after, she decided to leave those positions so that she could stay home and raise her children.
5 years later when her kids were old enough Brittni decided to look into re-entering the workforce. She came across the FFL opportunity on Indeed and thought it sounded too good to be true but still wanted to give it a try. She faced several obstacles along the way that she had to learn to overcome. Getting comfortable with investing into weekly lead purchases took some time, and she also had to learn to set up a disciplined schedule to bring structure into her daily routine. While it wasn’t easy Brittni enjoyed challenging herself to grow above those obstacles.
One of Brittni’s favorite aspects of working with FFL is the satisfaction she gets from knowing that she’s truly helping people. She also enjoys having the ability to share the FFL opportunity to others people to help them reach their own financial goals.
Brittni’s coachability and passion to serve those around her allowed her to create a successful career in spite of not having any prior insurance experience. Her training and testimony has helped many people, especially mothers who may be looking for new work opportunities. We know she will continue to be a source of inspiration and we’re excited to see what 2021 has in store for Brittni and FFL Strength.

Joshua Mwanza

Joshua’s agency FFL Mapolo has already issued over $1.5 million YTD! Like many other FFL agents Joshua didn’t have any insurance experience prior to getting started but has still been able to find success. In 2002 Joshua was working as a residential and commercial mover in New York City. He would have to work over 60 hours per week to make around $1600 for the month. He didn’t really enjoy the position itself but he did enjoy meeting new people on a daily basis.
Years later in 2015 he finally decided that it was time to find a more lucrative field where he could build a career and grow. He found Family First Life and decided to to give it a shot. In the beginning Joshua struggled because he had to go through his own learning curve. He didn’t have a lot of money to invest into purchasing leads or the business in general. He also struggled a lot when he was trying to book appointments. It was so frustrating that he almost just quit. With time and practice he was able to learn what changes he needed to make and started to see his results improve.

Luke Bohac

Luke’s agency FFL Strength and Finance has issued over $3 million YTD and are on track to qualify for Board Member status very soon. Despite his success, Luke started out in an entirely different industry prior to finding FFL.
In 2014 Luke was working 75 + hours per week as a Sports Specific Speed, Power & Agility coach. He was paid by the various athletes that he trained and made around $80,000 per year. At that time he was also in the process of marrying his wife and blending their two families. Due to the increased responsibility of now having 7 children to care for Luke started to look for opportunities that could provide him with additional income.
In 2015 Luke came across Family First Life and started working as an agent. Initially, he struggled with treating the opportunity as just a hobby as opposed to a real business. He enjoyed training his athletes so much that he wasn’t putting in the required hours to really excel in the insurance industry. Eventually, he realized that he could utilize FFL as a vehicle to change the lives of those around him and the results started to come.
Aside from the personal financial success, Luke also enjoys seeing the many different types of people that are able to win at such a high level. The joy that he gets from being a source of hope and encouragement to agents has grown stronger than even the joy he got from training his athletes. We know that he’ll continue to help the agents he meets reach their goals and we can’t wait to see what goals he and his team hit in 2021.

Frankie and Jaime Eufemia

In the early 2000’s Frankie was leading a successful and lucrative career in the mortgage industry. He was a Branch Owner of a mortgage company and was making around $250,000 per year. Unfortunately due to the banking industry crash in 2008 his company was greatly impacted, and he and Jaime almost lost everything they had worked for.
Shortly after, in search of a more stable industry Frankie started working as a life insurance agent with a different IMO. However, due to various business practices the financial situation there wasn’t any better than his previous company. In 2013 Frankie and Jaime heard about Family First Life and decided to go all in. Frankie initially struggled with not allowing his emotions to control him or his business, but with time and mentorship he was able to overcome that obstacle while he and his agency continued to grow.
8 years later Frankie and Jaime have been able to reach Board Member status with their agency FFL National issuing over $4.5 million YTD! Despite their success Frankie feels that the most rewarding aspect of working with FFL has been watching others accomplish more for their families than they ever dreamt possible, as well as the personal development that he’s been able to witness in them. They’re also now in a financial position to be able to give back to communities that are in need. They’ve been able to provide continuous support to an Orphanage called Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministry in Roatan Honduras. They’ve even had fellow agents on their team start to donate as well.
It’s amazing to see the personal and business growth that Frankie and Jaime have gone through these past 8 years. We know that they will continue to reach new milestones and be a blessing to everyone around them.
