Before / After

Theresa Marro Prendota

Theresa is one of the hardest working and most coachable agents that we have.
In 2012 Theresa was working at the Harbor Bistro restaurant in East Hampton, NY. She worked seasonally as the General Manager and oversaw around 35 employees. After bonuses she was able to make around $100,000 per season but she had to work many 12 hour days. After 35 years she decided to retire from the restaurant business so that she could move back to Las Vegas and marry her husband.
In 2015 Theresa found FFL and decided to go all in. She faced some adversity but was able to get through it by figuring out her lead strategy, and learning how to overcome objections.
At 61 years young Theresa is proud of being able to excel and become a top agent later in life. One of her most proud moments was the respect and recognition she got from her own children when they saw her qualify for the Hall of Fame. However, her most fulfilling aspect of working with FFL is seeing a brand new agent make their first sale and get paid. Theresa is a testament to what hard work, coachability, and the right opportunity can amount to.

Jermaine Clifford

Over the past 5 years Jermaine has been able to create a successful career for himself without any prior insurance experience!
Before finding FFL, Jermaine was working as a full time Uber driver after being laid off from his previous sales job. He was working around 50-70 hours per week in order to make around $5,000 per month. He quickly decided that he needed to move onto something else so that he could make more money to provide for his family.
When he started with FFL he was faced with challenges that he needed to learn to overcome. His biggest adversity was overcoming his fear of failure. He at times wondered if a career with FFL would even work and give him with the type of financial security he was seeking. Due to Jermaine’s consistency and hard work his results quickly began to exceed his expectations.
In a short period of time Jermaine’s been able to become a top producer and build an agency that just qualified for VP status in March! Even though his personal financial gains have had a huge impact on Jermaine and his family, his favorite aspect of working with FFL is the joy of helping to provide his clients with a peace of mind, as well as helping his agency reach their own financial goals. We can’t wait to see the continued growth from Jermain and FFL Impact.

Sandra Kehoe

Sandra is without a doubt one of the most persistent agents we’ve had in FFL History.

Over the past 10 years Sandra has worked as an administrative assistant and as an insurance producer. In 2014 she decided to go full time as a producer but really struggled to find the type of success she was looking for. In 4 years combined she was only able to issue a total of $35,000.

A few years later she found a new career opportunity in the car industry where she quickly excelled to the top. She was promoted to Finance Manager and was making around $110,000 per year. The only problem was that she had to work 80 hours a week with constant stress in order to make that salary.

In January of 2020 Sandra and her husband Joe found out that she was pregnant. She knew that she couldn’t continue to work 80 hours trapped in a box all day, and decided it was time to give insurance another shot.

She learned how to master her emotionality, gained control in the home, diversified her lead flow and began to really fulfill the needs of her clients. Those changes transformed her into an elite producer and she’s already issued close to $35,000 in only the last 3 weeks of March! She’s also on track to qualify for the Hall of Fame this year!

Sandra has created a life where she’s able to spend quality time with her 6 month old son and husband, while still earning a high income. Sandra’s unrelenting persistence and refusal to quit is inspiring!

We are all faced with challenges in this business, but if you remain tenacious and work hard it’s impossible to fail.

Matt Walker

Matt was lead to FFL through his pursuit of financial freedom for his growing family.

Prior to getting started with FFL Matt was working as a personal trainer and he also owned his own indoor baseball facility. He had a passion for what he was doing but he couldn’t allow himself to become content with it. His wife was feeling constantly exhausted with trying to juggle taking care of their new baby girl along with working the night shift as a nurse. Even though they weren’t struggling financially yet, Matt wanted his wife to be able to stay home and raise their growing family.

When Matt was initially introduced to the opportunity he was a bit skeptical, but after fully understanding FFL’s business model he decided to give it a shot. He got licensed and started out on a part time basis in 2016. Once he started making $3,000-5,000 per week he decided to go all in and switched to full time with FFL!

4 years later his agency FFL Invasion is on track to issue over $500,000 in early 2021, and he’s been able to qualify for the hall of fame 3 years in a row! His hard work has made it possible for his wife to stay at home and raise their two children. We can’t wait to see what milestones Matt and FFL Invasion will reach in 2021!

Jordan Lowery

Jordan started with FFL back in January of 2019 with no prior insurance experience. In only two years he’s been able to find success as a solo producer and build a highly lucrative agency!

In 2019 Jordan was working as a Golf Caddie at various resort golf courses throughout Arizona. He was able to make around $1,000 per week and really enjoyed being able to participate in the children’s charity events where he would teach them how to play golf.

Although he found the work experience to be very rewarding, he didn’t enjoy having a capped income. While caddying he kept meeting people that were financially successful and lived the type of lifestyle that he dreamt of. He knew that if they could get to that level then he could as well.

When he finally found FFL, Jordan faced several obstacles that he had to overcome. He didn’t have any money or credit cards and he failed his insurance test the first 3 times. He had to study in the caddy shack between clients while he was working. When he did eventually obtain his license he then had to learn how to switch his employee mindset over to a business owner mindset. That switch brought along new challenges like finding quality staff and continuously reinvesting back into his agency.

All of his hard work quickly paid off and his agency FFL Legacy Protectors just qualified for Board Member status by issuing $1,101,096.83 in February. Their total 2021 YTD volume is $2,440,146.80 which is already almost half of their entire 2020 volume!

Despite early failures and adversity, Jordan has been able to completely change the trajectory of his life, and now he’s on a mission to help as many agents change their lives as well. We know that this is just the beginning for FFL Legacy Protectors.

Eric Schmidt

Prior to starting with Family First Life Eric was a seasoned vet in the automotive industry. He had worked his way to the position of General Sales Manager and was making around $78,000 per year. The problem was that his position required him to work at least 65 hours per week. He was at a point in his life where he wanted to be in control of his own schedule in order to spend more quality time with his wife and three kids. He started selling with FFL on a part time basis initially and then quickly transitioned into a full time schedule.

Since joining FFL Eric has been able to become a 2x Hall of Famer while also helping others reach their own financial goals through building an agency. He lead from the front by personally issuing $607,583 in 2020, and his agency FFL Northeast finished with $5,608,196!

In less than 3 years, Eric’s been able to create an extremely lucrative business while also being able to live the type of lifestyle he envisioned. His work ethic, coachability, and determination made his dream a reality.

Steve Giordano

Steve doesn’t come from an insurance background, but he’s quickly become one of FFL’s hardest working producers.

Prior to finding FFL, Steve was working as a Food & Nutrition Director. He had to put in around 50 hours per week and was able to make $100,000 each year. Some people may have been satisfied with that income but Steve didn’t like the limited growth potential.

When he did find the FFL opportunity, Steve made sure to apply his intense work ethic and became our 2019 Rookie of the Year by issuing $664,946! After that impressive accomplishment, Steve was still determined to really take advantage of the uncapped earning potential. In 2020 he became the first agent in FFL history to issue $1,347,842 on his own pen!

It’s important to set goals, but it’s even more important to take action to truly hit those goals. Steve’s vision combined with his unrelenting activity allowed him to reach levels that seemed impossible before. We can’t wait to see what new heights he and his agency Health & Wealth will reach in 2021!

John Gavin

In 2011 John was working in the insurance industry as a licensed sales agent. His salary was around $36,000 per year. Like many agents in our industry John was struggling to get by and he knew that he needed to find a better opportunity as soon as possible. John’s sense of urgency didn’t come from just his own ambitions, it was mainly fueled from wanting to create a better life for he and his two daughters.
At that time John lived 4 hours away from his daughters and In order to see them he had to cross a mountain pass. During the winter months there were times when the mountain pass would be shutdown and he’d miss his weekend visitation with them. After just 6 weeks with FFL he had the financial means to move within 10 minutes of his daughters and started running business in that area.
10 years later John’s been able to build an agency that issued close to a million dollars in December 2020, and he’s in the process of buying his dream home for he and his family. A home that he hopes will serve as a place of love and comfort for years to come.
A strong “Why” paired with the right opportunity will always lead you to success.

Zac Twardowski

Zac’s path to getting into the insurance industry is not your typical story.

Zac went to school at the University of Colorado Boulder where he played Lacrosse. His original plan was to go to Medical school after graduation to become a doctor. When it was time for him to go he knew he still wanted to help people but he wasn’t excited anymore about the reality of going to school for another 8 years before he could start working.

After learning that he could still help people and make a high income he decided to obtain his life insurance license and started working with FFL. 7 years later he’s become a 3x time Hall of Famer and has a growing agency that issued $8,078,725 in 2020.

Zac has been able to make a higher income in a shorter amount of time while still being able to help people. Sometimes taking a risk pays off more than you can imagine.

Zach Leoffels

Zach’s work ethic has been evident throughout his life and he’s never been afraid to take advantage of a new opportunity.

Prior to getting started with Family First Life Zach was working around the clock as a carpenter and waiter. He made around $100 per day in construction and around $120 per shift as a waiter.

When Zach was 35 yrs. old work started to run out on the construction side. His waiter position was still available but he felt that he had outgrown that job and was ready for a new challenge and better opportunity.

Shortly after leaving the restaurant business he got his life insurance license, and 6 years later he’s become a career million dollar producer and has issued over $333,975.29 YTD. He now gets to work in a career where he has complete control over his schedule with an endless potential for growth. We look forward to seeing the goals he’ll reach in 2021!
