Jeremy Nichelson

Jeremy is a newer agent who recently made over $13,000 after his first travel trip! Continue reading to learn more about his start with FFL:

Q: What were you doing for work prior to getting started with FFL?
A: I was initially working as a Senior National Director for a 3rd party T-mobile company. After I left them I started my own business in the car dealership industry.

Q: What made you want to get into the insurance industry?
A: Ironically enough when I was 18 yrs. old I was told to look into the insurance industry, but at the time I didn’t believe it was the right fit for me. I ended up seeing Marco Conde’s success online and that caused me to reach out to him.

Q: What were your first few weeks out in the field like?
A: It was a challenge. I saw the opportunity and what was possible here but I wasn’t following the blueprint as closely as I should have been. I wanted to do my own thing and kept trying to recreate things. Eventually I realized that I just needed to follow the success and the system.

Q: When did you realize that you needed to just follow the system?
A: It was actually right after my Nebraska travel trip and over the past few weeks that I’ve had that realization. I was doing way too much door knocking and not dialing the phone enough . I learned that you need to be able to take the emotion out of this business and avoid allowing yourself to become complacent.

Q: What made you want to start taking travel trips?
A: I have a lot of friends and family in Nebraska that I haven’t been able to see for almost two years due to Covid. Because of that, I thought It would be a great opportunity to combine work with family and thankfully I was able to help both friends and clients while in the area.

Q: What is your goal for 2021?
A: It’s a big goal but I’d like to qualify for the Personal Hall of Fame.

Mike Curry

Mike is a Platinum Producer and has issued $236,278 YTD! Continue reading to learn more about his quick start with FFL:

Q: When did you start working with FFL?
A: I started selling full time in December of 2020.

Q: What were you doing for work prior to finding FFL?
A: I was working as an Appliance Repairman and I didn’t have any prior sales or insurance experience.

Q: How did you come across FFL?
A: I knew Grady prior to FFL and I kept seeing how successful he was. At that time I also wanted to be able to retire my wife so that she could stay home with our two young children. So it was a combination of wanting more out of life with seeing the income potential here.

Q: Did you feel confident to start out in sales without any prior experience?
A: I was confident in myself to go all in and be obsessed with learning how to be successful. I don’t have any sales experience but I’ve learned from my own physical fitness journey how important discipline and being coachable is in life. I truly believe that anyone can accomplish anything if they’re willing to work hard enough.

Q: Did you have immediate success your first few weeks or did you still go through a learning curve?
A:. I didn’t make any sales my first 10 appointments, but I still ended up being able to issue $26,000 my first 30 days. Everything just eventually falls into place once you put enough time in. You learn as you go and you get more comfortable everyday. I also had Jamie Chirio as an upline that I was able to rely on throughout the process.

Q: What was your lead cost like initially and was it hard for you to invest in leads?
A: I didn’t have any prior business experience but It made complete sense to me that you need to invest money in order to make money. I was initially spending $600-800 per dial day, but then I went to convention and heard all the top producers say that they were spending $1500-$2,000 a week so I decided to start copying what they were doing.

Q: What is your goal for 2021?
A: I would like to minimally qualify for the personal Hall of Fame and have my agency issuing $500,000. I’d also like to add that this past year I was finally able to retire my wife!

Tori Haskell

Tori is a newer agent and just issued $22,000 last month! Continue reading to learn more about her time with FFL:

Q: What were you doing for work prior to getting started with FFL?
A: Prior to FFL I was selling insurance for a supplemental insurance company for around 4 months. Aside from that I have a little sales experience from selling cars and waitressing.

Q: What made you want to get into the insurance industry?
A: I was looking for more freedom and flexibility. I was about 6 months pregnant when I was working at the car dealership and when I started with FFL I had just finished my maternity leave. I wanted time to spend with my baby and of course the money was a great incentive as well.

Q: Why do you think it was difficult for you to find success selling supplemental insurance?
A: There were a few reasons. My compensation was really low and there was no real system in place to really train me on how to sell. Whereas here with FFL my upline told me what to do step by step. We also didn’t have any leads there and I had to prospect for all of my clientele myself.

Q: What was the learning curve like for you?
A: I don’t think it was too up or too down. I wasn’t overly terrible and I also wasn’t special. I just knew that with practice I’d eventually get better, so I just tried to follow what those before me did in order to be successful. The most difficult thing for me to learn was the concept of it’s not what you say but how you say it. Developing the ability to ask questions that I wouldn’t normally ask someone is what really helped take me to the next level.

Q: What is your goal for 2021?
A: I’d like to get my team to issuing half a million by the end of the year, and qualifying for the Hall of Fame has always been a goal.

Joanne Basso

Joanne issued $40,000 in her first 21 days! Continue reading to learn more about her quick start with FFL:

Q: When did you start working with FFL?
A: It took me a while to get licensed in my state so I started in May 2021.

Q: What were you doing for work prior to finding FFL?
A: I was working in the corporate world for Verizon as a General Manager.

Q: How did you come across FFL?
A: I heard about it through my brother. He had gone into the industry and had reached out to Gabe E. here at FFL. He told him about how the income potential is limitless here and I knew it was something I wanted to try.

Q: Did you have immediate success your first few weeks or did you still go through a learning curve?
A:. I spent a lot of time watching hours and hours of podcasts which helped me to learn a ton. I also made sure to jump on all the actual training calls for our team. The info that you need is already created for you, so when I was preparing to leave my job I was becoming a student of insurance at the same time. Due to that, when I went into the field the first time I felt pretty prepared.

Q: What was your lead cost like initially and was it hard for you to invest in leads?
A: I wasn’t afraid to spend money because I knew that it was necessary in order to put up good numbers. I had about 200 CRM leads my first dial day and I spent around $2,000 my first week. I did a mixture of instants, FX mailers, aged leads, etc. It was a worthy risk.

Q: Are you building an agency and if so, how have you been balancing it with your own production?
A: I am building an agency as well but I wouldn’t say I’ve mastered the act of balancing the two yet. I try to stay organized and diligent on my dials days to get to my goal quickly. During my drive I’ll reach out to the agents that are onboarding to help them get started. I just try to utilize my time as best as possible.

Q: What is your goal for 2021?
A: I would like to maintain issuing at least $40,000 per month, and agency wise I’d like us to be issuing $200,000-$300,000 per month.

Q: When did you start working with FFL?
A: November 1st, 2020.

Q: What were you doing for work prior to finding FFL?
A: I was working in the car industry as a salesperson. Car sales can take a lot of time and effort before you start seeing any results, in comparison to FFL where all you have to do is buy leads and meet with families. My first week with FFL I made more than I had in an entire month selling cars!

Q: How did you come across FFL?
A: I saw a lot of ads on Facebook that initially piqued my interest. Then I also started hearing about the opportunity from mutual friends who were also looking into it. We decided that it was a good time to just jump in and see what we could do.

Q: Did you have immediate success your first few weeks or did you still go through a learning curve?
A: . My second week here I was able to issue over $14,000. Despite that success, I still feel like I had to go through a learning curve but it wasn’t hard because all you have to do is plug in and listen to your upline.

Q: What was your lead cost like initially and was it hard for you to invest in leads?
A: I did start investing right away but it wasn’t enough for the kind of results I was looking for. I quickly started investing more because I knew that there was no way to have success here if I wasn’t investing as much as other top producers.

Q: Are you building an agency and if so, how have you been balancing it with your own production?
A: I plan to continue leading from the front but I’m also actively building up my agency as well. We actually just hired our first administrative assistant to help us with growing the agency.

Q: What is your goal for 2021?
A: I would like to see us issuing at least $300,000 in team sales and my personal goal is to hit Hall of Fame.

Katelyn is a single mom who’s been with us for only two months and has already issued $50,000! Continue reading to learn about her quick start with FFL:

Q: When did you start working with FFL and what were you doing for work prior to FFL?
A: I started working with FFL in the beginning of April and I was working in a hospital doing medical insurance.

Q: What made you want to get into a different industry?
A: I was miserable in my job working 12 hour shifts for little to no pay. I came across an ad on social media and was shocked at how much money people were making. I thought it was all a scam initially and too good to be true, but I had nothing to lose so I decided to go all in. I think going all in was actually one of the biggest factors to my recent success.

Q: Did you have any prior sales experience before FFL?
A: No I had never sold anything before.

Q: What were your first few weeks out in the field like?
A: my main struggle was with learning to overcome the anxiety that I would get from having to get on the phone and book appointments. I also had to learn to get over not being able to help every single person I called. We truly have something valuable to offer other people and so many people to help that it doesn’t bother me anymore when that happens.

Q: Was it difficult for you to purchase leads initially ?
A: Yes that was very difficult for me. I didn’t have any money when I started. I ended up signing up for a credit card and bought $800 worth of leads to get me started.

Q: Are you building an agency or focusing on being a solo producer?
A: Yes I’m working on building an agency. This entire opportunity has changed my life and it would be selfish to not

Q: What is your goal for 2021?
A: Personally I would like to issue $400,000 and I’d like to have 20-30 writing agents by the end of the year.

William Warren

William is 21 yrs. old, has been with FFL for 3 months, and is issuing 30k a month! Continue reading to learn more about his start with FFL:

Q: What were you doing for work prior to getting started with FFL?
A: I was working at a different IMO and prior to that I was working with Autistic children.

Q: What made you want to look for a new company to get set up with?
A: Initially I actually wasn’t even looking for a new company. I was just looking to learn from other recruiters so I could get better at hiring for my own agency. The conversation with the FFL recruiter ended up going better than expected and I decided to make the switch.

Q: What did FFL have to offer that you didn’t have at your previous IMO?
A: There were a lot of things. It was an instant 40% raise for me comp. wise. We also have a ton of diverse lead options here whereas I only had access to one vendor and lead type previously. I also get to have more control over my schedule because we book appointments here but I was trained to only work off of door-knocking previously.

Q: What has your hiring strategy been?
A: My initial strategy was just talking to my warm market but now I’ll share the opportunity with everyone I come into contact with. I’m someone who tends to work hard when I have someone to hold myself accountable to because they’re depending on me. So when I started hiring, it was like a switch went off and it caused my work ethic to get better.

Q: What is your goal for 2021?
A: My personal goal is to qualify for the Hall of Fame and my agency goal is to issue $800,000 by the end of the year.

Halle Bolin

Halle is a new agent who issued close to $30,000 her first month! Continue reading to learn about her quick start with FFL:

Q: When did you start working with FFL?
A: I started working with FFL close to April 1st of 2021.

Q: What were you doing for work prior to finding FFL?
A: I was working as a stay at home mom.

Q: Did you have any prior sales experience before FFL?
A: Most of my prior experience was working as a server or a waitress. My customer service skills were good but I didn’t have a lot of experience in a real sales environment for a long period of time.

Q: What were your first few weeks out in the field like?
A: They weren’t too bad. I think I was really blessed that I didn’t face a lot of rejection. In fact, the first time someone said no I was really surprised! Lol! So I think that was actually my learning curve, learning to push through people not wanting to buy and learning what to do from there.

Q: Was it difficult for you to purchase leads initially ?
A: I watched all of FFL’s Youtube videos for like two months before starting so I fully understood the importance of purchasing leads. I spent around $900 my first week and I only increased my budget from that point on.

Q: Are you building an agency or focusing on being a solo producer?
A: We’re definitely building an agency! We have around 10 people who are in class right now to get licensed.

Q: What is your goal for 2021?
A: Personally I would like to issue $400,000 and qualify for the Hall of Fame, It makes me nervous to say that but that’s what I’m shooting for. I also just want to hire as many people as possible and share this opportunity so that it can change their lives like it’s changed mine.

Miranda Jett

Marinda is a new agent and just qualified as a sales manager for the first time! Continue reading to learn more about her time with FFL:

Q: What were you doing for work prior to getting started with FFL?
A: I was working at a different insurance company for close to five years. We mainly specialized in the final expense market.

Q: What made you want to look for a new company to get set up with?
A: There were a few different reasons. I wanted to be able to offer my clients more than just final expense because I had a lot of younger people clients asking for more coverage. We also had a very low compensation scale and no vesting day one.

Q: What has the learning curve been like for you since you already had some insurance experience?
A: The biggest thing for me was that I had to learn about new products like term insurance because I had never done them before. I was worried that I wasn’t going to be able to learn them quickly enough to be able to help my clients. Thankfully, we have awesome training here so I was able to get up and running fairly quickly.

Q: What was the lead program like at your previous company compared to what we have here at FFL?
A: My other company generated their own in-house leads but they were very expensive. That combined with the overall low compensation made it difficult to make money. They also had something called a “household cap” where if you wrote a few policies in a home they wouldn’t pay you for every single policy. One time I wrote over $4,000 in a home but only got paid around $800 because of the household cap. So I’m definitely getting more bang for my buck here at FFL.

Q: What helped you get to Sales Manager and what is your hiring strategy?
A: I’ve just been trying to keep a positive mindset and encourage my new agents that are just starting. I’m posting my commissions on social media and have been finding a lot of people just through that.

Q: What is your goal for 2021?
A: My goal by the end of the year is to get my agency issuing $300,000 per month.

Zach Babiarz

Zach started with us in January 2021 and has been a consistent 20k producer! Continue reading to learn more about his journey with FFL:

Q: When did you start working with FFL?
A: I started in January of 2021.

Q: What were you doing for work prior to finding FFL?
A: I had worked in a few different MLM type of organizations as well as sales but I had never tried insurance before FFL.

Q: How did you come across FFL?
A: Initially I always thought that insurance was a boring industry, but then I started to see close friends of mine doing well here. The more I learned about the FFL business model the more interested I became in wanting to give it a try.

Q: Did you have immediate success your first few weeks or did you still go through a learning curve?
A: I would say that I had an overall shorter learning curve because of my past experience. But there was still a lot that I had to learn so I worked on putting myself in a lot of different situations so I picked it up fairly quickly.

Q: What was your lead cost like initially and was it hard for you to invest in leads?
A: I was investing around $1200 when I started. It was a little intimidating at first because I didn’t have a lot of cash flow to rely on, but I believed in the system and the results that it could bring so I just kept reinvesting.

Q: Are you building an agency and if so, how have you been balancing it with your own production?
A: I am building an agency and currently have some people in class to get their license. I’m still learning to calibrate my schedule day by day in regards to balancing it with my own production. When I’m not sitting in front of a client or dialing the phone is typically when I reach out to new recruits and agents in class.

Q: What is your goal for 2021?
A: I would like to be able to pay off my debt and put a down payment down on a new home. In order to do that I’d like to issue around $300,000. In regards to my agency, I’d like us to be issuing $500,000 by the end of the year.
